Why MarineVerse?
I originally joined MarineVerse to practice docking, but quickly discovered there's much more to enjoy here - from the sailing itself to the great community of like-minded people. I have always loved anything related to water, and also tried a couple of sailing simulators, but VR adds a whole new dimension to learning and fun. Introduced through NauticEd.
Sailing experience:
I have held a skipper's license for about two years and get out on the water whenever I can (which is much less than I would like), mostly during trips to Croatia and the Mediterranean. Living in a landlocked country does not make accumulating experience easy, so I am still very much learning and looking for ways to improve. I don't own my sailboat yet, but with a large water reservoir nearby, that might change...
