Why MarineVerse?

Sailing experience:

I started sailing on a Wayfarer in 1967. In 1969 my dad built an Optimist-style boat that I used to race with other kids in the club. In 1972 my parents purchased a 29' sailboat and kept it on Lake Champlain in NY state. We sailed there until 1984 and in later years I would often use it for charters and introducing friends to sailing. Since then, I've been sailing on Tasers, Lasers, Wayfarers, CL16s, and a few keelboat charters (34'-38').
