Why MarineVerse?

I enjoy sailing. You could say it is in my blood. Several generations back my ancestors were part owners of the Stowers & Staples Shipyard in Sandy Point Maine which built coastal schooners in Downeast Maine.

Sailing experience:

I have crewed on Solings and Stars in the past and was a Red Cross certified sailing instructor when I was young.
